Overspeed Governors EUROPA Description The EUROPA overspeed governors with discdiameter of 200mm activate the safety gear when the lift exceeds the permitted speed, in both upward and downward travel. Activation is achieved through centrifugal force, opening the levers and moving a roller towards a fixed locking disc, mechanically blocking the pulley. The system allows an unlimited number of locking points and is suitable for instantaneous safety gears with rollers – with or without damping (progressive). All models include a test groove, anti-drop protection and protection against falling objects.
